My work explores randomness as both subject and method, through the lens of generative art. With a background in teaching random processes, I write algorithms that incorporate chance to produce visual forms—systems where unpredictability becomes a source of meaning and emotion. Though my tools are digital, the creative decisions remain deeply human. This is not AI-driven art, but intentional design shaped by uncertainty.
I see randomness not as noise to eliminate, but as the very fabric of life—present in nature, memory, and time. The algorithms I create are born from mathematical intuition and artistic curiosity. Some works are gently nudged by randomness—deciding a color, a texture—while others are fully entrusted to it, leading to surprising, sometimes inexplicable outcomes.
What fascinates me is how code, when guided by chance, can explore forms of randomness far richer and more intricate than the patterns the human mind alone can produce. Our attempts at randomness are instinctively biased; an algorithm, blind but precise, ventures into truly unexpected territory. In this sense, the computer becomes not a creator, but a powerful tool—amplifying the creative reach of the human mind.
Inspiration often comes from nature, life, and art. A passing emotion, a concept, or a visual impression might lead to an idea, which I then develop through code. Forms emerge gradually—imperfect, organic, sometimes circular—echoing the softness of natural patterns rather than rigid geometry.
Each piece I offer is unique—generated once, sold once, and never repeated. I invite you to enter these creations slowly, openly, as one might step into a memory, a dream, or an unfamiliar landscape. Let the patterns unfold, let the randomness speak. Perhaps nothing will happen—or perhaps, something will shift: a resonance, a question, a fragile echo of something you recognize but cannot name. And if, by chance, an emotion emerges—quiet or overwhelming, sudden or delayed—then the work has found its viewer. It has become more than code and color. It has become connection.
Randomness with intent ; emotion by chance.
Each work presented here has been personally curated by me. While some series are open-ended and others limited, every piece is truly unique — its number corresponds to the seed of the algorithm that generated it, ensuring its uniqueness. Once a piece is printed, it is no longer available, making each print a singular, unrepeatable encounter.
